Energizing Your Brain: An Inside Look At The Inside Of Your Head
Email To Friend
Description
The brain is the single most complex system known to science. It contains trillions of connections that dwarf the capabilities of the most advanced computers. Your brain functions tirelessly throughout your entire life, yet many of its workings are still a mystery. Everyone has a brain, everyone uses their brain, and everyone wants to make sure their own brain is working to its full potential.
This unique new first-time ever course is divided into two fascinating and engaging segments. The first will explore the world inside your head – sort of a “60-Minute Med School.” It will show you the anatomy of the brain, how it works, and how it’s taken science more than two thousand years to understand just what the brain actually is.
The second segment will focus on how the brain makes us who we are. This includes the way we make memories, the affects of time and aging on the brain, and the ways in which we can keep our brains vital and healthy throughout our lives. From memory tricks and mnemonics, the brain is always learning—and can always be taught new things, no matter how old we are.
The course is highly interactive and encourages audience participation. It’s a fantastic opportunity to find out more about your own brain, and give it a workout in the process.
